How To Join The Team

We’re seeking A players. I know that definition is vague. But trust us, if you are one, you know it. People at Vertex Mastery are epic, smart – and well balanced. Vertex Mastery employees make an impact from day one: they have an opportunity to enjoy early responsibility and rich experiences.

How To Apply

  • Keep your resume to 1-2 pages

  • Include links to work samples such as software, designs, or writing you have created so we can see proof of your talent.

Your video cover letter

  • Most positions at Vertex Mastery require a video cover letter

  • Record yourself speaking in a 3-minute video: Tell us about your mission in life and how you grow yourself each day on the path towards it. How does Vertex Mastery fit into that journey?

  • Upload it to the platform of your choice and include the link in your application

What To Expect During The Selection Process

Step 1- Application

When you find a particular role that interests you, go ahead and hit that ‘Apply’ button - it will guide you to join our application Telegram channel with all the application instructions in it. 

Step 2- Shortlisting

Once you submit your application, we will go through a pre-screening process and if it's a match, then your profile will be shortlisted and we will contact you to arrange the next step of the process (which could either be a practical test or an interview, depending on what role you applied for).

Step 3- Written Assignment


You are given written assignment(s) to assess your job-relevant skills. 

Step 4 - Vertex Mastery Interviews

Depending on where you are located, your interviews may take place in person in our Vertex Mastery office or online. We usually organize 3 to 4 rounds of interviews, and you will have an opportunity to speak to a member of our Culture Team, your potential peers, your manager, and a member of our Executive Team. The interviews are a chance to get to know each other better, and for you to tell us what makes you stand out from the crowd. You can share your career goals, your skills and strengths, as well as areas where you would like to grow. You will get insights into life at Vertex Mastery and our culture. It’s also a great opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.

Step 5- The Offer

If you’re successful (culture and skill fit), we make you an offer!  Congratulations, you are about to become an official member of the Vertex Mastery team!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Vertex Mastery accepting remote applications?


We are mainly hiring in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia but also open to other states in Malaysia and globally.

At the moment, we are hiring remotely as well, both as a temporary solution (if you are willing to move to Kuala Lumpur later) on or permanently (depending on the needs of your role).

On the 'Explore Jobs' section you will see the preferred location for each position, however for each role we are considering all 2 options: work in KL or remotely.
